Ahmed is a dedicated and result-driven infrastructure and real estate capital programmes advisory professional with 30 years of technical practitioner experience in project management, project finance, construction management and risk and value management offerings in multi-disciplinary business environments.

Has a distinctive way of strategic thinking and an ability to see patterns, play out scenarios, predict potential obstacles, and draw out the best conclusion with excellent communication skills and multi-disciplinary team leadership.

An 'Architect' with professional training in advanced legal studies and expert witness in the UK, Fintech Oxford programme, MIT Commercial RE Investment; and and EMBA candidate at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management; with experience in auditing infrastructure portfolios; project finance, and project turn-around. Poised to drive success in international business environment.

Ahmed held executive management roles with EY in MENA before leading the 'Risk Management' for the World Cup FIFA programme in Doha between 2014 and 2016. He has also acted as the lead client representative for the design and procurement of the Museum of the Future in Dubai (Dubai Future Foundation), acted as a senior advisor to the Executive Strategic Office, Saudi Ministry of Housing, and to the Saudi National Company for Housing Services in Saudi Arabia.

 

Currently, he is leading the development and delivery of a private equity real estate investment fund in Romania.

 

Ahmed believes advisory solutions should be unique, answer the client questions; and delivered to add value. The language of advisory should be simple, clear and easy to put in action. He also believes that while there are pan sectoral systemic similarities, no two business challenges are identical. Advisory offerings will always require innovative and unique solutions.

Everything must be simple enough but not simpler.
